We try to limit how many moms we have to no more than 3 due in the same month.  We feel that this gives us the time we need to spend 2 hours at a first visit, 1 hour at each prenatal visit, as long as needed for a birth, 4 to 12 hours (depending upon your needs) for care immediately after you give birth and 1 to 2 hours for each postpartum visit. 

Most of your prenatal care takes place at the home office in Athens, Ohio.   We see you monthly until 28 weeks then every two weeks until 36 weeks, then weekly until your baby is born.  We come to your home for the birth of your baby and you will be attended by the midwife and either a birth assistant or midwife apprentice for your birth and postpartum recovery.

We do a phone visit on day 1 and day 2 after your birthing, come to your home between day 3 and 5 for a visit, and you have apointments at the office at 2 weeks and 6 weeks postpartum.

We also offer annual exams for PAP tests and breast exams.  Many times we get together with families after the birth just to visit, because friendships are formed too. 

We are a loosely affiliated network of family, friends and professionals who are dedicated to the support of home birthing and families.  We work together to provide a unique collective of services to our communities.

We are always interested in networking with others who have services to provide that would compliment the ones we offer.
